The steering wheels shown are representative of typical Chrysler product steering wheels from this era. We have molds for most steering wheels from 1937 through 1970, including the clear plastic steering wheels of the 1960's, and we are always making new molds.

62 Plymouth Savoy Steering Wheel
The original plastic was totally removed, the frame was sand blasted and primer coated. Thermoset urethane plastic was cast onto the frame in one continous casting, no joints. Finished in UV stable metallic bronze.

64 Plymouth Belvedere Steering Wheel
The original plastic was removed and the frame was sand blasted. The frame is then primered and is placed inside a mold which was patterned from an original wheel. The finished steering wheel is molded exactly as the original. The horn ring and chrome spoke covers were custom fitted to the steering wheel. It is warranted for 10 years.

65 Plymouth Sport Fury Steering Wheel
The urethane plastic is poured into the mold and cured. The steering wheel is then removed from the mold. The parting lines are hand sanded and the steering wheel is coated with a UV inhibitor. The steering wheel is again cured, wet sanded and polished. This steering wheel is warranted for 10 years.

69 Barracuda Woodgrain Steering Wheel
This steering wheel has been cast with urethane plastic. A woodgrain finish has been applied to the urethane plastic and six coats of clear acrylic urethane has been applied over the woodgrain. This provides protection for the woodgrain and leaves a smooth glass like finish. The woodgrain finish will not wear off, fade or discolor. It is warranted for 10 years.

66 Plymouth Tilt Steering Wheel
The old plastic was totally removed, the steel frame has been sand blasted and primer coated. The new urethane plastic has been molded onto the frame as per the original Plymouth design. The chrome spoke covers have been hand fitted to the steering wheel. The new plastic has been hand sanded, the steering wheel was then coated with a UV inhibitor, cured, wet sanded and polished. This steering wheel is warranted for 10 years.
